Andrew Sum - Articles on Game Design & Development

Hello everyone!

My name is Andrew Sum and this is my blog on game development.

The aim of this blog is to write high-quality, thoroughly engaging articles on game design and development. I want to make this blog a useful resource for game developers and anyone else interested in the processes involved. In making this blog I hope that these reflections on game design and development will also help me to improve my own skills and consolidate my knowledge.

My background:
I’m 21 and I live in Australia. I’ve been creating games as a hobby for as long as I can remember. I’m the developer of Faerie Solitaire (with Brian Kramer), Stray Whisker, Dungeon Dash and ZDay20. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Science (Major in Software Engineering) at the University of Melbourne, which I am aiming to finish in February 2012. Besides these things, I’m an avid gamer and I play games from a wide range of genres (though I am a big fan of FPS!). You can find out more about me on my website: http://andrewsum.com
